About

My name is Tess Enterline. I’m a wife, mother, writer, former hospital chaplain, stationery enthusiast, and dog lover. I’ve decided to share some stories through my blog–Tesstimonial–because I believe the themes running through these stories are universal and will resonate with many of you. My hope is that we can feel connected by the common threads of our daily lives.

I’m also currently writing a memoir about getting to a place of peace and acceptance in the aftermath of trauma, based upon my experiences as a student chaplain in the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program at the Penn State-Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Some of the stories you read in Tesstimonial will make it onto the pages of my memoir. Some have nothing at all to do with life inside a level one trauma hospital. All of the stories are now a part of who I am.

“Who I am” is someone who also fervently believes in these words by Saint Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa): “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” How I love these words! That sentiment was one of the founding beliefs behind The Love Note Project, which I started in May 2014 and continue (though not on a daily basis) to this day. Please read more about it by clicking on the link above.

I hope you’ll sign up to receive my bi-weekly storyletter. Just fill out the form at the bottom of my Home page.

Thank you for visiting my website. I’m grateful and excited to connect with you through the stories I post on Tesstimonial, through your comments here, and on social media. Please know that I will respond to each comment and question .

I’m so glad you’re here!
